Welcome — what this site is (and is not)
BabyPredictor is a family of free, browser-based tools for the biggest guessing games of early parenthood: what will the baby look like, when will they arrive, how much do they need, what should we call them. Every tool runs entirely in your browser — no account, no uploads, no servers, no data leaving your device. That privacy promise is a design decision, not an afterthought.
It is not a medical resource. The calculators are educational and entertainment tools built on standard public formulas — from Punnett-square genetics to WHO-style growth references — and every page says so. When certainty matters, your care team is the authority, not an app.
The site works on any screen, remembers your language choice and your favorites, and is free with no limits today. Here is how to make the most of your first ten minutes.
The 20 tools, by category
Predictors (9): Eye Color, Hair Color, Hair Type, Height, Blood Type, Trait Dominance, the Chinese Gender Chart, the Old Wives' Tales Quiz, and Zodiac & Constellation. These are the party tools — they turn family curiosity into probabilities and conversations.
Pregnancy (4): Due Date Calculator, Pregnancy Week Tracker, Ovulation Calculator and Conception Date. These are the planning tools — they turn calendar arithmetic into milestones, windows and answers.
Baby Care (5): Growth Percentile, Feeding Amount, Baby Sleep Schedule, Newborn Checklist and Baby Budget. These are the daily tools — they turn a baby's numbers into reassurance.
Names (2): the English Name Generator (100+ names with meanings) and the Chinese Name Generator (five meaning themes × eight characters). These are the forever tools — a name is the only thing on this site that lasts a lifetime.
Your first 10 minutes, mapped
Minute 1–2: open a Predictor — enter your two eye colors and meet the probability table. It sets the tone for everything: instant, playful, honest about uncertainty.
Minute 3–4: tap the star at the top right to save the tool to Favorites. The star fills; open the Saved page later and it is there. Favorites live in localStorage, so they survive closing the tab — on this device, privately.
Minute 5–6: try a Pregnancy tool if relevant — enter your due date and watch the week tracker's progress bar. If you're planning, run the Ovulation Calculator for your window.
Minute 7–8: generate a result card on any tool that has one and download it — a nice PNG for the group chat, the baby book or the reveal party. Share buttons on every result send it straight to X or WhatsApp.
Minutes 9–10: open one Guide — Eye Color Explained is a great start — and skim the FAQ. Then switch the language with the button in the top-right corner and see the whole site flip to Chinese.
Reading guides: how to get depth fast
Each of our 15 guides follows the same architecture: a big idea up front, the mechanics explained in plain language, the honest limits stated, and a FAQ that answers the three questions people actually ask. You can read any guide top-to-bottom in five minutes, or jump straight to the FAQ for the verdict.
Guides and tools are designed as pairs. The Eye Color guide explains the genetics behind the Eye Color predictor; the Due Date guide explains why your due date is really a window; the Sleep guide gives the wake-window table that the Sleep calculator implements. Reading the guide first makes the tool output feel earned rather than magic.
Every guide page links to its related tools at the bottom, and every tool page links back to relevant guides — follow the threads in either direction, and the site becomes a small course on early parenthood rather than a collection of calculators.
Privacy, favorites and what's next
Three promises worth repeating. First, privacy: no account, no tracking of your inputs, no analytics beyond what your browser does anyway; everything you enter lives only on your device. Our Privacy page explains the one exception — third-party ads may set cookies, exactly as on millions of sites, and you can opt out via Google's ad settings.
Second, favorites: the star system is the site's memory. Save the tools you'll use weekly — the Week Tracker and Growth Percentile are the most-saved on our site — and check the Saved page before every visit to the doctor or the store.
Third, what's next: this site is free and unlimited today, by design. If it grows, we may add optional member benefits someday — but the core tools will stay free. Until then, bookmark us, star your favorites, and enjoy the guessing games that make the wait human. If you are here before the baby arrives, one more suggestion: build a small predictions page now. Run the eye color, hair color, height, blood type and trait tools, screenshot the results, and store them in a folder. When the baby arrives, add the real answers. Six months later, the comparison is one of the most charming pages in the family archive — and it takes about four minutes of your time today.
